  • Abstract: The nextMR proposal addresses a selected number of open problems in clinical research where the nontrivial use of MRI techniques and data analysis could be instrumental in the solution. While the key to the clinical questions is generally complex and involves other examinations (e.g. PET, neuropsychology, genetic and molecular data) the proponents shall use these complementary data to maximize the contribution of MRIbased information, whenever possible. The research activity is divided into three intertwined branches: hardware, protocols and data analysis.
